However, it also added to the tension and drama of the series, as fans are left wondering what will happen next. This turn of events left fans heartbroken, as TJ was a beloved character who had only just returned to the show. He did not receive any help from Ben, and his body was presumably discovered by Michaela, as she found someone, later revealed to be Isaiah, burnt to a crisp clutching onto Olive’s bracelet. However, TJ’s return was short-lived, as he tragically sacrificed himself to protect his friend Olive from the flames. Although he returned towards the end of the first batch of episodes, his welcome was appreciated despite being late in the game. Thankfully, TJ did return in season 4, and his comeback was met with much excitement and anticipation. This left his friends and fans saddened, but hopeful that he would return to the show in the future. In season 2’s penultimate episode, “Call Sign”, TJ revealed that he had applied for a grant to attend a university in Egypt.
